Color studies: Claude “haystacks” Formula Color 2

Mixing cyan magenta yellow white blue green red and white colors

Hello Earthlings. Making new part of my Color Studies series. This time it’s Claude Monet Haystacks. I infiltrated 7 main colors and made laser cut woodcut composition. But this time I’m mixing color by myself not in the lab. It’s fun and outcome is something unexpected. This one is test print and shows process. Also I use website that generates #color formula to mix proper color.

Meanwhile at studio. Saturday LOFi mood with new piece of Sentences series. Painted oil on canvas. “Silence” - 50x50 cm

Update from studio. Back on track with my “Color studies” series. New things is: I will combine and mix colors by myself, using web RGB color analyzer that gives me precise output of basic color vlues and proportions. There are eight basic colors that RGB can be mixed in physical world. Those colors are: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow (just like in CMYK), Blue, Red, Green (made from NCS system), Black and White (which are not colors but hue tones). Additionally sometimes I’m adding water as 9th substance.
First part of color studies was Van Gogh’s 3rd and 4th version of sunflowers showed in CICA Museum in Seoul in 2017.
This time it will be less synthetic and more figurative Claude Monet series of Haystacks. Analyzed and processed with my “formula”
Stay tuned for more from Labolatory
If someone is asking why I’m idle. I’m working at my new studio for a while. And this is my window view.
What a crazy week. Few photos from my solo show at Warsaw. Google Maps Color Code from 2015 to 2018. Everything went smooth and professional. I’ve meet people I haven’t seen in 10 years. What good time to talk about art end enjoy first day of summer.
My solo show in Warsaw is day after tomorrow. I’m ready with my additional content that explain my GMCC series idea. Printed few flyers and made color swatches also. Next one is installation of a show.
